바로가 이 일을 듣고 모세를 죽이고자 하여 찾은지라 모세가 바로의 낯을 피하여 미디안 땅에 머물며 하루는 우물 곁에 앉았더라(출애굽기 2:15)

Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan Branch donated a huge amount of blood after executing an MOU with Ulsan Blood Bank

Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan Branch donated a huge amount of blood on 11th May

with about 500 members participating.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan Branch (Manager: Cheolhan Bae) donated blood on 11th of Feb.; the winter season when blood donations are at their lowest.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan Branch signed an MOU with Ulsan Blood Bank in December 2015, and has since volunteered to donate blood twice a year. This year, four buses transported about 500 members in the early hours to participate in blood donations once again.

Moreover, volunteers who had donated blood more than 50 times, encouraging others to do the same, were appointed as daily ambassadors. Some of them put up promotional posters around the surrounding walls and also extended invitations to local residents for blood donations to engage in local volunteer work that benefits the community.

A representative of Ulsan Blood Bank expressed appreciation to the volunteers, saying, “Regardless of scientific progress, blood cannot be created. It is only possible to balance the supply and demand levels through blood-giving. I want to thank the volunteers for their voluntary efforts in these hard times.”

Cheolhan Bae, the manager of Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan Branch, said, “I donated blood to put my love for life into action. I will try to be of help to the community through voluntary work that can be the light and salt of the world.”

Meanwhile, a ‘photo zone’ was provided where photos of those donating blood were printed out. Moreover, the initiative ‘Love for Blood Donation’ sends messages of support to patients waiting for blood transfusions or to those recovering after a blood transfusion.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Ulsan branch encourages the regular giving of blood and is taking the lead in giving wider publicity to the importance of donating blood since having signed an MOU with Ulsan Blood Bank.
